Enterprise Car Club and the London ULEZ Expansion
What is the ULEZ expansion?
On October 25th, 2021 the current central London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) was expanded to a much larger area – 10x the size of the original zone; bounded by the North and South Circular roads. The roads themselves are not included.
ULEZ charge
If your vehicle doesn’t meet the ULEZ emission standards, there is a daily charge of £12.50 for driving in the ULEZ area. This charge is in addition to the £15 London Congestion Charge.
Enterprise Car Club & The London ULEZ
All Enterprise Car Club vehicles are ULEZ compliant, meaning that when you drive one of our vehicles, you have complete peace of mind and don’t need to worry about paying the ULEZ charge.
When your journey cannot be made on foot or bike, using an ULEZ compliant car club car is a great option. In comparison to using a private vehicle, they help improve local air quality (26% less carbon emissions*), reduce localised congestion (each car club car displaces 24 private cars *) and save members’ money. What’s more, car clubs don’t just free up road capacity for active travel, car club members themselves tend to use active travel modes more, further boosting the benefits felt by individuals, the wider community and the environment.

Unlock Cars & Vans With Your Phone - Rent By The Hour/Day
We have a range of fuel-efficient cars and vans that you can rent by the hour or the day. Join and you can access vehicles across the UK, picking it up from a convenient street, train station, car park or Enterprise Rent-A-Car Branch. Membership includes fuel, servicing, MOTs, breakdown cover, insurance and cleaning, meaning you only pay for a vehicle when you need it, not when you don’t. Join
Select your nearest location for joining (don't worry, you can use the Car Club membership anywhere in the UK). Once approved, you’ll be able to get on the road using your app.
Reserve
Log in and select any one of our 1,400+ car sharing vehicles and pick your reservation start/end times. You can reserve vehicles in advance or on the go. Simply log in on the website, give us a call or use our mobile app.
Unlock & Go
Use the Enterprise Car Club app to unlock the vehicle, then enter your PIN number into the PIN pad located inside the glovebox and collect the keys.
Return
Return the vehicle to the same location and use your app to lock the vehicle for the final time. If you find you need a little extra time you can extend the reservation from the vehicle itself, via the app, website or by calling us.
